Lost in transalation
Jan. 14th, 2007 08:45 pmIt seems that the first HP book I bought in Canada is actually an original version, since it actually says "Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone". So then no need for me to order a book from GB in July, Amazon.ca shall be enough. Good
Думала где бы взять оригинальных британских версий Гарри Поттера, поскольку Штатовский вариант упрощен слегка для детишек. Самым простым примером будет то, что "Гарри Поттер и филосовский камень" здесь зовется "Гарри Поттер и волшебный камень". Ну и до кучи там дheгих исправлений типа (Британская / Американская версии)

Зачем это делается мне не понятно, но раздражает. Зато оказалось, что Канадцы выпускают оригинальную версию. У них и куплю в июле последнюю книгу. Еще хочется у них же купить полное собрание в хорошем твердом переплете.
